Welcome

Welcome to my website. I am a qualified Gestalt therapist and registered member of the BACP (the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and a Professional Member of ACTO (the Association of Counselling and Therapy Online).

My counselling room is located near the station in the centre of Eastbourne.

I also provide therapy online via video (Zoom) and telephone. Please look at my online therapy FAQs here if you are interested in online therapy.

My experience covers a range of issues from anxiety and depression to low self-esteem, and bereavement. You can find out more about Gestalt therapy, along with my experience and qualifications here.

Before becoming a counsellor I worked as an editor in publishing. I was also a university researcher and tutored at Sussex University in the areas of literature and drama studies.

As a young woman I had my own life-changing experience with counselling which stayed with me and inspired me to become a counsellor myself.

I'd welcome the chance to meet you and discuss how we might work together.

Counselling

At times life we can all face difficult and challenging periods which leave us feeling alone, stuck, overwhelmed and confused.

I offer a safe, confidential place where you can explore your experiences, conflicts and concerns with me to help you discover the growth and change you want.

Gestalt therapy is a form of humanistic therapy that sees each individual as unique in the way we experience and see the world. As a fellow human being and Gestalt therapist, I believe that we are all of value - no matter our race, sexual orientation, gender, abilities, age or beliefs. I also believe we all have the capacity to create change and find meaning in our lives through a deeper awareness and understanding of our own experience and the ways we connect with others.

I offer an accepting, creative and flexible approach working alongside you, at your pace, to support you through this process.
